WiniFighter is a rogue spyware removal software. It behaves like a real anti-spyware scanner, but WiniFighter displays a fake or exaggerated list of spyware threats scarying the user. This ruse is used to trick a victim into purchasing of the "full" version of that rogue software.
If the user chooses option to remove "detected" infection, it will be immediately asked to buy full version of WiniFighter product.
WiniFighter regularly displays annoying fake system popup messages stating that computer is infected. Also it may display fake Windows Security Center.
Usually, WiniFighter is installed on the victim's computer by some trojan, so the computer should be scanned with trusted anti-virus or anti-spyware program as soon as possible!
