VirusAlarm is a rogue spyware removal application. It behaves like a real anti-spyware scanner, but displays fake or exaggerated list of spyware threats scarying the user. It tries to push the victim into purchasing of the "full" version of that rogue software.
VirusAlarm advertises itself very aggressively. It displays warning boxes and alerts from the Windows taskbar, stating that computer is infected. If the user chooses option to remove detected "threats", it will be immediately asked to buy full version of VirusAlarm .
Usually, VirusAlarm is installed on the victim's computer by a trojan, so the computer should be scanned with trusted anti-virus or anti-spyware program as soon as possible!
