Safehomesite.com is yet another homepage hijacker brought to us by a very active trojan called Zlob Trojan. It changes user's homepage to http://safehomesite.com which tries to sell fake antispyware programs. On its own, safehomesite.com is not all that dangerous but the fact that it was installed by a trojan makes it a high risk security threat. Zlob Trojan uses many scare tactics to promote several fake antispyware programs such as VirusHeat and VirusProtect.
Infected computers exhibit symptoms such as 'Security Alert' error messages and W32.Myzor.FK@yf infection warnings.
