AntiVirus Pro 2008 is a rogue spyware removal software. It behaves like a real anti-spyware scanner, but AntiVirus Pro 2008 posts a fake or exaggerated list of Spyware threats scarying the user. This ruse is used to acquire a victim's credit card number.
AntiVirus Pro 2008 use very aggressive advertising. While the 'scan' is taking place, AntiVirus Pro 2008 displays a warning dialog box from the Taskbar that says the name of the 'detection'.
